Erythromycin is a topical antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth. Erythromycin helps with the reducing acne outbreaks, redness and inflammation on the skin.
Erythromycin inhibits the growth of the acne bacteria and works mainly against pimples and pimples. You will notice this effect within a few days, but it can take up to four weeks before the effect is maximum.
Apply a thin layer of Erythromycin to affected areas of the skin, usually once a day or as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure the skin is clean and dry before applying the liquid.
