I've been taking the medication for over a year now and it works well!
Testosterone gel is a medicine that delivers testosterone to the body through the skin to replace it in men with low testosterone levels. The gel is applied to the skin daily so that the hormone is slowly absorbed into the bloodstream.
Only available with a valid prescription.
Testosterone is the most important male sex hormone. It plays a major role in:
- Development of male characteristics (such as muscle mass and body hair)
- Energy, focus and mood
- Libido
The testosterone in the gel is absorbed through the skin and enters the bloodstream. It raises testosterone levels in the body to a normal level, which can help with symptoms of low testosterone. The gel works for approximately 24 hours and must therefore be applied daily.
